The Armed Guard is a trainable defensive unit in The Godfather Five Families.

Overview

Armed Guards are the fourth defensive troops in the game. They are stronger than the Guard Dog but weaker than the Bodyguard. Like the other defensive troops, Armed Guards do not require any upkeep at all. They can be seen frequently in a combat alongside the other trainable defensive troops.

Advantages

• No upkeep at all
• Trainable in all Neighborhoods
• Easy to meet the requirement to train
• Cheap to train
• Needs a small amount of influence to train
• Short training time
• Can be crafted in Doria Airport
• Needs a low-level Tower to craft
• Needs a small amount of weaker troops to craft
• Needs only weak troops to craft
• Can be upgraded via boxing
• Needs a small amount of Armed Guards to gain a +1 point at the Boxing Arena
• Stronger when facing Demolitionist, Enforcer, Assassin, Professional, and Black Widow

Disadvantages

• Dies easily, even the Level 8 Armed Guard
• Slow
• Needs a high-level Boxing Arena to sacrifice
• Never goes to jail
